ACTION TEAMS
Action Teams play an important role in implementing core activities of the
CATCH movement. Action Teams are groups (people and organizations) who focus on
implementing strategies from the strategic action plan through taking an
advisory role. Action Teams can be ongoing or ad hoc (dissolves when the need
for the Action Team ceases).
Through their action, the teams contribute to increased collective learning
about the early childhood development needs in the community and hence increase
capacities for ALL stakeholders to play their part in creating a stimulating
environment in which young children are able to develop in a healthy
way.
Roles and responsibilities of Action Teams:
- To participate in creating a community Early Childhood Development (ECD)
Plan and work with it!
- To liaise with the community (in partnership with staff and other Action
Teams)
- Reporting back to the Integration Team (on a monthly basis)
- Communication with the Integration Team
